Day 30 - Shaped for Serving God

You were shaped to serve God. A person who is manufacturing a new product needs to ask, "What will this be used for?" In that same way, God designed you with a purpose. You were designed with a specific ministry. From your DNA to your daily experiences, God has something special in mind for you.
God's design for you is composed of your SHAPE, or your:

Spiritual Gifts,
Heart,
Abilities,
Personality, and
Experiences.

These are things that God gives to you, and he will not let them be wasted.

Your Spiritual gifts are designed by God to complete you and help you in your ministry. These are gifts that cannot be developed without accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. They are given only to benefit you but to benefit others as well, and you will not be fulfilled unless you use them that way.

Your Heart is the part of you that likes certain things, hopes, and enjoys. It is how you feel and what inspires you. When you allow God to come into your life he doesn't want to make you a robot and remove all of your joy, he wants to complete you. That is why he will use what makes you happy to develop your service. It's easier to do things that we like anyway! God designed you, and he wants to use the things that make you unique to better fulfill your life and the life of those who you will impact.

Thinking about my purpose:
Know. I was shaped for serving God.
Remember. “God works through different men in different ways, but it is the same God who achieves his purposes through them all." -1 Corinthians 12.6 (Ph)
Think about it. How can I see myself excited about serving others and enjoying it?
